What I liked

I had to go to the MIU as my local practice was shut due to Doctor Training. I turned up out of the blue with severe lower back pain. In the space of 3 hours I was seen by the Triage nurse (within 5 minutes), seen by a Doctor (30 minutes) who sent me for an X-Ray, then back to the MIU for another prognosis, then to the Pharmacy. In all this took just under 3 hours - an excellent service. When people moan about the NHS consider this - if you turned up at a garage with a problem with your car, out of the blue, would you get it sorted in less than 3 hours? Of course not.
