"An excellent GP Practice"

We are very fortunate in having the most wonderful GP service, Peacock Surgery in Carlton, Nottingham. Being patients of this practice feels like having a 'security blanket' of care. Every member of my family has experienced superb service.

My son, on his visits home over the years from university, travel and working away, always receives the same friendly welcome from the practice nurses when he visits for his (irregular!) asthma checks.

My husband, while waiting for a diagnosis a few years ago, was telephoned personally with the results of tests at what was a worrying time. Since his diagnosis, he has been very well supported with regular health checks.

For myself, I received outstanding care during a very difficult time health-wise. I was able to participate in an Integrated Health Programme which enabled me to recover fully from a debilitating illness and provide strategies to help in the future. As a result I took minimal time off from my work and now know what I need to do should I find myself in such a situation in future.

Our GPs are responsive, listen to the patient and take time to seek out a diagnosis. We are most fortunate in belonging to a practice where a such a holistic approach prevails for patient care. It is highly effective and really valued by us.
