About: Addenbrooke's Hospital

What I liked

My 87 year old father was admitted to Addenbrooke's on Christmas Day 2011 with pulmonary oedema followed by a heart attack. Sadly, he died on Boxing Day. I cannot thank the hospital enough for the kindness and care shown to my father and to all my family. Thank you also to the CofE Chaplain who came to see us late on Christmas Day. This meant everything to us. When it became apparent that he was not going to recover he was moved to a side room on F6 ward. The care he was given there was superlative. We are so grateful to Addenbrooke's for everything they did for him and for us. Thank you.

What could be improved

Nothing.

Please accept our belated condolences on your sad loss. We were of course very pleased to hear that your father received high quality care and that you and your family were treated with kindness. We shall ensure the staff and departments you have mentioned are aware of your gratitude.
