"Endoscopy examination"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I went to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for my periodic endoscopy examination. The last time I went was 2 years ago when I attended the "old" Selly Oak hospital, that visit was awful and I contemplated not having another endoscopy.

Anyway in March I attended for my examination and found the staff very helpful and friendly, they explained things and got my consent before the examination began.

The only issue I had was that the waiting area was very cold, the staff were offering us thin blankets in an effort to keep us warm. Engineers did arrive but left very quickly before they saw the relevant member of staff or rectified the problem.
