"No consideration for patient privacy from any..."

About: Westmorland General Hospital

What I liked

Staff were pleasant enough but without any consideration for patient confidentiality or privacy. Six people walked into the room I was being treated in - without once knocking or pausing to check it was suitable. The door opened directly into the waiting area which was full. Highly embarrassing and totally unprofessional. One person who barged in decided to hold a conversation with the nurse in question even though she was in discussion with me at the time. They proceeded to hold the door open the whole time whilst talking of treatment to someone waiting in the area behind. No consideration for any privacy here. In fairness, treatment was quick but that's about all which could be considered as positive.

What could be improved

Some privacy and consideration for patients

Anything else?

As above
