(as the patient),

I have just had foot surgery and I could not give enough praise to all the staff involved in my pre-op and day surgery.

They all deserve medals for being so wonderful to me and my husband. I also have to praise the ECG and X ray staff for their important contribution for my care.

I would not have known I had a blood pressure problem if the pre-op staff had not diagnosed it. Thanks to themselves and my GP I am now on medication and have had my surgery.

To be cared for by such efficient, observant and caring staff has made my surgery experience so good.

I am glad to have had the Patient Opinion website opportunity to give my praise also in words. After surgery our thanks were expressed via a box of chocolates!

Having my husband involved in my care was also great . He said it helped him to understand my post op problem and also gave him reassurance that all would be OK on my going home. Regards
