"Transfer of patient between house and ambulance"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service Victoria Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a relative),

Some constructive comment, I hope.

My wife was seen by a GP at home for a painful back injury and he summoned a 'two hour' ambulance for transfer to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

The ambulance crew knowingly turned up to collect a person with a back injury and took my wife from the house on a chair without any kind of neck support. This made the journey between house and ambulance a bit more painful.
