What I liked

I visited the X-Ray department of Southend Hospital for a C.T Scan and through the whole time I was there the Staff were very friendly, approachable and explained all the necesary procedures that would take place.

I had to have a drip inserted to enable an eternal dye for the scan and this was done in a clean environment and understanding manner.

The staff who carried out the scan continued the professional care and explained everything I needed to know on how the scan would proceed and how the dye would make me feel.

The friendliness and professional attitude manner of all the staff made the experience less stressful.

I also had to have an M.R.I. Scan the following week and the staff were very understanding of my suffering with claustrophobia and reassured me throughout the whole scan.

This was invaluable to me having the scan done and I thank all the staff concerned.
