"Excellent care"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I was recently addmitted to ward 6 Vale of Leven hospital for a gallbladder operation.

The staff were very professional throughout my stay. On admission I was introduced to the staff nurse who was looking after me, then the charge nurse introduced himself, and told me about the operation and what to expect, they both made me feel very at ease. The next morning the senior charge nurse introduced herself to me.

This makes a real difference to patients and the staff in this ward could not have done more. I cannot praise them enough.

I feel the care I was given throughout my stay was first class from the medical staff to the nursing assistants.
