"Unpleasant in the extreme"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

What could be improved

I attended for a CT scan; I was not given any information before hand as to what this would entail.

(Why was an information leaflet not sent with my appointment letter?)

I was therefore unaware that I would have to wait and drink 2 litres of water before the scan.

There was as expected a delay, and therefore a shortage of seats.

The staff must be the poorest in the Hospital , they were rude to the point of insulting.

I was shown no courtesy and treated without dignity.

No smiles no please and thank you, in fact no politeness at all.

Anything else?

I just hope I never have to go for another CT scan, in fact I wouldn’t I’d pay for a private one.
