"Frustrating!"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

What I liked

Consultant seemed nice.

What could be improved

Communication, it has been 8 weeks since i was told i needed urgent MRI EMG and bloods and still have not had EMG and MRI was only just done. Departments are disjointed.

Anything else?

Don't come here if you need urgent treatment or expect to be kept informed.

We are sorry that you did not have a more positive experience at St Peter’s Hospital and that you feel you could have been communicated with better about your treatment. It is difficult to comment without knowing the full details of your case, but there are often very valid reasons why some tests are not performed straight away. For example, after certain surgery patients have to wait six weeks before a safe MRI can be performed. We would like to reassure our patients that we are fully equipped to provide urgent tests and treatment when required, but our medical team will decide what is best for each patient on a case-by-case basis.
