What I liked

My four month old son was taken ill and an ambulance was rung after ringing NHS Direct. From going into hospital through the A & E department to the ward my son was examined and treated very well. We ended up on ward 17 (childrens ward) and the staff were absolutely brilliant. The amount of time and effort that goes into the children is second to none. The staff were always informative and told you everything with what's going on. Anything from getting a bottle of milk to chasing tests results no matter how busy the staff helped and were friendly not only to our baby but making sure we were ok and comfortable. A big thankyou to all staff for helping our little boy get better

What could be improved

A cash injection for the staff and any better equipment if they need any
