About: Kettering General Hospital

What I liked

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in November and had a mastectomy in December and a lymph node biopsy. Then went back in to have lymph nodes removed in January. The surgeon was very kind and explained my options in a way that was easy to understand, (not all doctors do this). Nurses very friendly and professional.

Would like to say that the theatre team were brilliant, very reassuring and explained what they were doing whilst I waiting for anaesthetic. It really helped having the same team for the second operation has well.

Hope the chemotherapy side of treatment is as good.

Thank you for taking the time during such an anxious time, to leave such positive feedback regarding your care in the Breast Unit at KGH.

This feedback is much appreciated and will be passed on to the team. May we take this opportunity to wish you a full recovery.
