What I liked
When I arrived on the morning of my operation, I only had to wait a short while before my paperwork was completed and shown to my bed. My bed was in a bay that only had 4 beds in it which I liked as I felt I had sufficient privacy when nurses or consultants came around my bed.
I found the staff very reassuring and professional. As an example, before my operation, I became emotional, however, a nurse came over and held my hand until I was wheeled down to theatre.
The ward was clean and tidy.
Regarding meals, the menu was large enough to suit most tastes.
Overall, I felt well cared for.
