"reassured at pre-operative assessment clinic"

I attended the Pre-Op Assessment Clinic at the beginning of this week. The staff were wonderful, especially the Pre-Op nurse called Carolyn. I mentioned I had started with a cold and she said that if I was no better by the end of the week, I was to phone her and let her know as my right knee arthroscopy would have to be put back. She was very pleasant and really put my mind at rest. I spoke to her yesterday and was told that I won't be able to have a general anaesthetic for 3 weeks in order to allow time for me to recover from my cold. Thanks to all staff concerned in clinic.
