Anything else?
Ive just been to visit my fionce on ward 13, he got his appendix removed yesterday and i must say the consultant and most of the team were fantastic. But last night he tells me he was kept awake by staff at 2am screeching and laughing out loud, he was exausted after his op and this was the last thing he needed. He buzzed for help to get out of bed and they told him they cant help he'd just have to roll out - all he wanted was a hand to sit up! Then tonight when i visited i took his dirty blood stained nighty to a nurse who gave me a dirty look. When you leave someone you love in ano environment there not used to it would be nice to feel comfort that he was being well looked after and coming across a snob like that is not very comforting at all. The healthcare assistants were excellent that i met and made sure i felt welcome but some peoples attitude could do with dramatic improvement, ive been worried enough as it is without all that. Thankyou to all the helpful staff that have helped through out his care
