"A more than satisfactory stay but with..."

About: Spire Cheshire Hospital

What I liked

Staff were caring and committed and all obviously took a pride in their work. The room was lovely and the food in a different league to some hospitals I have attended.

What could be improved

Difficult to think of anything! (other than comment in next box)

Anything else?

I got the distinct impression that staff were under extreme pressure to discharge patients based on timescales rather than their condition.

I made the point that my leg was so swollen that I had difficulty bending it and could not be fitted with a compression stocking and yet they were happy to discharge me in this condition.

I found this very stressful and was panicky when I got home, feeling that I was in no fit state to be there.
