Last Saturday, I was an assessment patient on B3 ward. QMC Nottingham. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I'd never heard of Ward B3, about 15-20 beds with patients being assessed for all sorts of things.
I had 2 doctors looking after me but it was the nursing staff that were amazing. They were on the go all the afternoon and evening, so pleasant and caring putting me at ease and reassuring me.
Supper was curry and rice and ice cream all served with a smile. A nurse told me they were on the go all through the night.
it was a quicker service on B3 than if we had gone to A & E.
Well done all of you!
"Well done to all on ward B3 QMC!"
