"Very professional"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

What I liked

Our 7 month old baby had to have some blood tests, naturally we were a little concerned about this procedure on such a small baby. The phlebotomists were absolutely brilliant though - reassuring nervous parents, distracting the baby, and carrying out the procedure confidently and quickly. Although baby was unhappy with the tourniquet, we don't think she even felt the needle go in. Big thank you to them.

What could be improved

We did have to wait a little while. Understandable and acceptable in many cases, but with small baby it would have been good if they were running to time.

Thank you for sending in your comments and we are very pleased you found our service so reassuring. We try hard to make sure our clinics run to time, but sometimes appointments do run late often due to circumstances beyond our control. However we do understand that with a small baby waiting can be a bit more stressful and we will continue to look at ways to support our clinics to run as efficiently as they can.
