What I liked

My son attended the paediatric day surgery unit today. We were met with a warm welcom by smart,professional,friendly staff who explained clearly what would happen and offered us the oppertunity to ask questions at any time. My son was given plenty to keep him entertained which made the time pass quickly and come the time for his op both he and I were supported by all the staff involved in his care. Following his op he was made comfortable in recovery and once we were happy to go home we were given clear infomation about what would happen next and what follow up he would need. Having returned home we then recieved a phone call later that evening from the unit Sister inquiring after my sons health and making sure that he was ok and that I had no concerns. What a totally excellent and holistic approach to professional health care provided with a truly caring ethos.

What could be improved

I could not have faulted the care that we recieved in any way.
