What could be improved

Blood over the toilets, broken showers, hard to use when you have needles everywhere. Very horrid staff, I was in tears as she humiliated me as I pooed while pushing.

My partner collapsed as I was having my epidural and the midwife pushed him and said he couldn't faint there.

Ward as blood filled plasters and cotton wool, no one approached me after going into the ward till 6 hours after and that was to say do I want anything? Yes, ibloody did. I wanted to pick up my baby as I couldn't move with the epidural, I wanted help breast feeding. No one told the bounty person that I was there. I was told off for taking my baby to the ward to ask for a piece of toast. She said do it yourself. No introduction. Rude staff.disgusting hospital

Cleaning needed. New staff and severe monitoring

The importance of a ‘gold standard’ patient experience is one of our key objectives and communication between staff and patients is something we’re working hard to improve.
