What I liked

Some of the midwives genuinely care.

What could be improved

My wife is still in the hospital and been moved to HDU. She came in Sunday 19th, 34 weeks pregnant, and throwing up. She was seen by the excellent triage staff. She was forced toast and butter, and orange juice and immediatley threw up. The midwife on duty had to follow union rules and could only clean up a bit, as the cleaner wouldn't do it, but then could not do under the bed due to "possible injury to her back". She was put on to Coral ward in a room on her own. We had to ask a midwife to come and clean blood off the wall. She had high Ketones in her urine and on Sunday 26 told to drink Lucozade so she could be retested then discharged. She is back in now as she started throwing up again. Her Ketones were high again but the doctor could not be bother to read the notes and did not know until I told them. When the doctor asked the midwife why she didnt tell them, the response was "I forgot". I had to help a midwife set up a machine to administer a drip as she could not do it. She has not slept in over a week nor eaten yet some of the staff just can't be bothered.

The food in the restaurants is expensive and terrible and the shop is over priced as is the car park. The shop refused to change a £20 note for the car park unless I bought something.

Rude staff (some not all) - but the minority spoil it for the majority

Dirty rooms - cleaners obviously only clean what is on show and no more than 1" from the floor

Plus I thought it was a hospital not an art gallery and concert hall - guys what is it with the piano!!!!!
