"Lack of cohesive management and no wifi, otherwise..."

About: Salisbury District Hospital

What I liked

It was clean and most staff were courteous - the best of all was the cleaner! I had to wait five days with an open wound for surgery but when it came, it was excellent.

What could be improved

With the exception of the physiotherapist all staff were professional. What was striking was the lack of cohesiveness between them all, basically overseeing management of my case. No one person appeared to know any more than what they were trained to do. Nobody managed my case from beginning to end. The physiotherapist was a case in point; she arrived before surgery and despite my open wound had me marching round the room on crutches bleeding-out everywhere. It was really stupid. She should have come to me after surgery, not before. She really had no clue waht was going on with my treatment and lacked the intelligence to be a physiotherapist.

Anything else?

My five-day stay would have been much less boring and tedious if there had been strong, free wifi. In this day an age there is no excuse for its absence or need to pay.ments

Thank you for your comment and we are pleased that the treatment you received was excellent. You have made some important observations about the management of your case which we will pass onto the relevant department, so that they are aware of the issues you have raised in your case. I have also forwarded on your comment about WiFi to our IT and facilities departments for their consideration.
