"Excellent care from nurses, but felt some of the doctors were patronising at Gilbert Bain Hospital"

About: Gilbert Bain Hospital

(as the patient),

I was taken into hospital and was in for a few days. During my stay I felt that the nurses were excellent but some of the doctors seemed reluctant to get involved and were quite rude. I felt that the doctors I came into contact with had a patronising attitude toward patients and nurses. My care from all the nurses caring for me was excellent throughout.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We take patient experience very seriously and are disappointed to hear the comments regarding doctors' attitudes. This will be discussed at medical staff meetings with the aim of improving each patient's experience of healthcare.
