What I liked

Having a toilet/bathroom just for the ward in which I was staying.

The care and consideration given by all the staff, and the good treatment.

The patience shown by the nursing staff especially to difficult patients.

The kindness shown by my surgeon, who phoned my family to tell them that my operation was successful.

What could be improved

Not all of the people delivering meals offered me any hand cleanser.

The salads were very dry and could have been improved with some dressing.

Nobody checked what I was or was not eating.

I should like to have rented TV, but didn't want the whole package offered.

Car parking!

Anything else?

I feel that we are very fortunate to have such an excellent, well-run hospital locally, and especially one that makes a profit in these difficult economic times.
