What I liked
Diagnosed with prostate cancer in Sept 2011, and from the outset was whizzed along a course of appointments and procedures, culminating in the successful removal of my prostate gland in early Jan 2012 by magical surgeon and his crew, using the staggering Da Vinci robot. What a piece of kit! How lucky we are to have such a facility here in Canterbury. I understand that it is intended to broaden its use to encompass other procedures such as renal, bowel and hernia surgery. To lose Da Vinci through a lack of perceived funding would be a total disaster, and not to recognise the skills of my surgeon and those like him would be criminal. My experiences at the hands of K&C have been exciting and rewarding, and I would heartily recommend the hospital to anyone. Thanks.
What could be improved
Warning of time likely to be spent in various outpatient and diagnostic procedures, if only to avoid feeding the praking meter!
"Difficult to fault in any way. Keep it up."
