What I liked

Highly impressed with all aspects of care throughout a difficult and stressful time. My elderly mother was treated for breast cancer by CUH and (St Georges Tooting) culminating in a mastectomy. As a family which fortunately rarely has call to use NHS services and with so much bad press about the NHS generally and also CUH we had some concern as to the level of treatment and care she would receive. We were however very very pleased with the efficiency and attitude of each staff member and professional we met. At each appointments we were seen on time and the staff were caring and informative. The hospital was clean and tidy and not in any visible way scruffy! When my mother was admitted everyone understood what a worrying time it was for us all and we couldnt have had better treatment. The surgeon and professional team were patient and still efficient inspiring confidence from which we gained some comfort. The outcome thankfully seems to be as good as possible and we couldnt have asked for better care.
