What I liked

The speed of the service I received from initial examination on to diagnosis and to surgery was excellent.

The Consultant was professional yet approachable. In my experience he has a great manner with patients and was very informative re my condition.

The department provided patient support.They had met me on only one occasion a week before my operation yet they recognised me as I was leaving the hospital after my operation and stopped to say hello and ask how it had gone. They have also helped me with a couple of matters since then. It is good to be seen as a person and not a patient number. Well done to the hospital for providing the support and well done for the commitment you give to your patients.

What could be improved

The public areas around main entrance get scruffier as the day progresses, dropped litter being the main problem.
