What could be improved

Child was treated very poorly, never addressed by name and nurse never introduced herself. Could not be bothered to even get him a biscuit post-op (tried to palm him off with a bit of cake). Did not want to start his admission straight away because it was a shift change (wanted to go home - they actually said this). Let him wake up on his own in unfamiliar surroundings. Shocking treatment. Complaint has been made and have been 'fobbed off'. Utterly appalling. My son is only three years old and now terrified of hospitals.
