"Not good."

About: Churchill Hospital

What I liked

I have been having treatment for an over active Thyroid now for two and a half years .And in all this time have only had a appointment once to see a consultant or so i thought .This was when i was going to have a double dose of radio active iodine i did not see the consultant that im ment to be under but some one else. They only came in when i refused to have the radio active iodine.I refused the radio active iodine as no one was answering my questions. All your treatment is decide by a thyroid led nurse which you are not allowed to question. When you phone to get your blood test results you are told you will get a letter. If you ask if its gone up or down you will be told again you will get a letter. You can get your GP to get results for you but they can not change your medication for you as you are under the hospital.I dont think the consultants at this hospital know any thing about what is going on with there patients .Never feel that you are being taken care of.Would never recomend this unit to any 1.Five weeks later and still no letter so still do not know what my results are.
