What I liked

The night staff were exceptional! Worked well as a team!

Ward manager (when on duty) was extremely approachable with problems and usually resolved them

What could be improved

Patient information is scarce - if you ask for info it is promised but not delivered

Medical staff seem too rushed to take time to explain what's happening

I felt very isolated and also felt like a troublemaker if I questioned the staff

The day staff should look at how the night staff work and emulate their work ethic, empathy and patient handling

The ward seemed to be a dumping ground for patients with non surgical conditions who were disruptive during the night and prevented many quite ill patients from getting rest and nursing! This became a major issue with obvious confused old people with medical conditions wandering the ward and shouting during the night! Not acceptable!
