About: Rosie Hospital

What I liked

Staff in the assessment unit and delivery suite were excellent. Many of those working in the Lady Mary ward were also great. Food was decent. All the community based follow up care was exceptional - thanks so much to the Sienna team.

What could be improved

Most of the time when there was a shift change, the new staff came to introduce themselves and it all seemed really organised. However, it was very stressful for me when one shift change took place and they seemed to be understaffed - my chart was not filled in properly which I found upsetting (as a result of gestational diabetes, my son needed blood tests regularly before I could feed him). Also, they seemed to think that "skin to skin" was the same as actually breast feeding effectively, which lead to significant problems once we were discharged.

Anything else?

The hospital was incredibly busy throughout my time there. Staff did the best they could, and virtually all of them were excellent.
