What I liked

I liked the way i was treated with respect dignity and kindness the staff from Sister down to carers were friendly and efficient - one hears so much about the NHS always the negative views. I am lucky not to have been in hospital except for a day bed since the early 60's when i had my children and i can only thank everyone who looked after me in Dorrell Ward. I was pleasantly surprised how I was kept informed of the operation by the doctor who came around before the operation in the morning and at the end of a busy day to tell me how everything had gone also the anaethetists and other members of his team who again were efficient and friendly and were able to answer any questions.
