"Why Weight the best thing I've ever done"

Joined the Why Weight programme late last year after I put on over 3 and a half stones after stopping smoking a few months earlier. I was devastated and quite depressed , not realising that I had put so much weight on. Of course as soon as I had and after trying diets that didn't work, I attended the doctors, and was advised about the programme. I was pleased to go along and see what they could do for me.

I found the best bits were how to count the calories as points and how to read labels properly on food packets I bought, and that doing this is working for me. The worst bit was finding out that I had been over-eating practically all my life, by way of portion sizes, I was horrified, and this won't happen again.

Our advisor is Tina Wyatt, and I found her brilliant at explaining everything about the food we eat, the good, and the bad, the portion sizing, and health benefits of losing weight and becoming more active and feeling more energetic and more confidence in myself, it life changing. I feel great and am really glad I attended the programme, it was the best thing I've done.
