What I liked
I was operated on for a heart condition (blocked lower artery). I was taken from the Royal London, straight to the Lab, seen immediately, operated on while having a mild heart attack. Everything that was being done to me was thoroughly explained. the whole procedure took less than 40 minutes during which time I was fully conscious. I was in pain but as soon as the stent was inserted into my lower artery the pain went.
I was so impressed by the efficiency and sleekness of the theatre team.
The aftercare at CCU was second to none, the staff could not do enough for me.
What could be improved
It is difficult to improve on perfection. That is how I see it, I could not fault it. The food is not 100% but it is what it is, hospital food.
