What I liked

I have been on the Day surgery R.B.H Unit twice, Jan.and Feb. On both occasions I was very impressed by the high level of kindness from all concerned and especially the nursing staff.I am a nurse and medical social worker so I have worked in Hospitals.Keep up the good work and many thanks, Christine.

What could be improved

I did not have a long wait but some people did which must have been hard for them as they were not operated on until p.m and had not eaten.Maybe they could come later in the day?

Anything else?

T he ward and W.Cs were very clean.There seemed to be challenges in theatre judging by the feedback from some nurses in terms of equipment.On my first visit four out of five B.P. machines did not work on the ward which is worrying.

Though very kind some of the staff need training on values. Calling patients sweetie is not very professional though maybe kindly meant. If you are going for Foundation Trust Status this will be noted and may cost you dear.
