(as the patient),

I was referred to April House in 2010 as a transfer from child services to adult services. My assessment was quick, the communication between my therapist before and therapist at April House was excellent and I felt all my anxieties were listened to.

During my time there, my one to one therapy sessions were second to none. The staff genuinely care and are extremely knowledgeable about not only eating disorders, but other disorders which commonly affect sufferers.

My experience with the day patient scheme was not as I had hoped it would be, but I believe this is down to my personal preferences more than the service itself.
