"Dedicated care for cancer on tongue"

(as the patient),

I recently underwent surgery for cancer on my tongue having a partial glossectomy and neck disection at the RD & E Hospital Wonford Exeter. I spent several days recovering on Otter Ward.

I have to put on record that I feel that the level of care I received from diagnosis to being given a clean bill of health was superb.

From Ward Cleaner to Surgeon everyone displayed dedication and professionalism to both my wife and I. I could not have had better care or a speedier result in the private sector.

A Big Thank You to everone involved. This was I believe the NHS at its best.

Politicians leave it be!

I would like to thank you for your kind comments regarding your recent stay in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. It is pleasing to hear that your experience of the hospital was so positive. I have passed your comments onto the consultant in charge of your care, and will pass your thanks to the staff on Otter Ward.
