"Upset by care for my miscarriage"

About: North Manchester General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

When I went for an ultrasound at North Manchester general hospital (crumpsall) they told me the baby wasn't there.

She didn't even say it sympathetically which i found distressing, she didn't even check properly either. It was just like a quick going over, it was in a baby unit which really hurt me and she didn't even come straight away.

I was crying non-stop for like 15 minutes before the sonographer arrived, the people in the unit told my nurse i had already gone so no one was there when the scan was over, and the sonographer left the gel and tissue on me which was very insensitive, and another woman said 'oh are you still here' very rudely. Eventually the nurse came.

2 days later I was discharged and 5 days later i passed my baby after a tablet they gave me days before.

When i went back in, the nurse made out i could carry on with my life like normal straight away, which was horrendous and insensitive.
