"Excellent standard of care and comfortable..."

What I liked

All the staff I had contact with were great - helpful, friendly and supportive.

They took the time to explain my treatment, listen to my concerns and answer my questions.

The post-natal ward I was on was really good - I had my own room with ensuite bathroom.

Help and support with breastfeeding was excellent.

I could always find a member of staff when I needed something.

What could be improved

More peace and quiet during induction - the shared antenatal ward has quite a bit of activity at all hours so it is difficult to get much rest and there's not much privacy

A quicker discharge process when we got to go home - we spent quite a few hours sitting around waiting

Anything else?

On balance my experience at Kingston was very positive. I would choose to go back there to give birth in future and I would thoroughly recommend it.
