I was recently looked after on ward B7 at Hope Hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
I have to say the first week or two after surgery are a total blur, but I then spent 3 weeks on B7 ward and I have to say I have nothing for praise for the nursing staff. They worked so hard, I never saw one of them sat down for a minute or even have a drink.
My most regular nurse was called Claire and she was brilliant, she explained everything to me in a way I could understand and nothing was too much trouble to her.
Just before I left she told me she had only been nursing for 2 months, I was shocked, she was so knowledgable. Keep up the good work Claire and co, you are doing a grand job.
