What I liked

After being referred to a rheumatologist for suspected rheumatoid arthritis, I was seen within 5 weeks and found the team to be very professional and were able to give me a diagnosis and start a treatment plan straight away. The consultant explained everything to me before I even had to ask and made sure I understood about rheumatoid arthritis, how it could affect me and all about my treatment and care.

I have been back to the department on two occasions and they were just as helpful and professional each time.

From speaking to other people from around the UK who also have RA I feel very lucky as the level of care at KGH seems to be well above average for the UK.
