What I liked
From the moment that I set foot in the hospital I was impressed with the attitude of the Staff. When it became obvious that I didn't know where to go I was approached by a member of the Staff offering assistance. This caring attitude persisted where ever I went..... The assessment interview, the pathology department, the imaging department, the ward....the porters who took me anywhere...The staff in the Intensive Care Unit..especially these special ladies who looked after me and for whom nothing was too much problem..We are asked not to mention names but the Vascular Surgeon who was, and is a special individual, must be mentioned. He explained everything to me in a matter of fact manner and gave me great confidence. Aspecial Gentleman indeed. So much appears in the media about failings in the N.H.S. but none of them was apparent in my experience. I was treated with respect and with great care at all times and I offer my sincere thanks to all the Staff at what is, in my view, a splendid Hospital. Thank you all.
What could be improved
In my case everything was fineI
