What I liked

The staff were brilliant. Very professional and obviously experienced. Staff attitudes were positive and they were very easy to approach and help when needed even when they were busy.

I'd highly recommend this hospital - in particular the midwife led unit. Thanks everyone for making a great experience awesome. Big thanks to our midwife.

The hospital was very clean and obviously very well maintained. Security was high - very safe environment.

I think the systems / procedures together with the staffs experience create a natural, relaxed environment for patients and families - probably not easily achieved considering the circumstances but somehow they have achieved this here.

What could be improved

From our experience we wouldnt change anything.

It is a big hospital so would recommend checking it out prior to labour so you know where to park and how to gain access in the early hours of the morning. I know it sounds like common sense but we didnt get time to do this due to work commitments and ended up in labour at 2am - the stress of finding parking and the maternity unit made things very anxious and could have easily been avoided had we made the time to pop in a week or so before and asked a few questions.
