"Skill in getting blood from my wife"

About: Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust

(as a relative),

My wife attended Stafford Hospital recently for a 12 week pregnancy scan. As part of this she needed to have some blood tests.

Historically blood tests have been a real issue for her and it has taking quite a lot of digging around to get her blood samples. Due to this she is extremely nervous and fainted during her previous visit, hence me coming with her this time.

Jane Hughes was the Phlebotomist who treated my wife, on this visit, she treated her painlessly and in comfort and was able to get a vein first time, which is something not even consultants have been able to do in the past. Please pass on our thanks to her!

Dear Paul,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this valuable feedback. We are delighted that you were pleased with the service and have fed this back to Jane and her manager.

Kind Regards
