What I liked
I was admitted for Gall bladder removal last week. I was terrified, literally terrified of the anesthetic and explained this to my surgeon and nurses. They responded with true care and understanding. The op itself was routine to them but they really understood my fears and did everything to help. So much so I honestly can't recall even going to theatre.
Post op, the nurses on ward 4 were fantastic, although busy they had time to listen, be polite and friendly and treated me as if I were a VIP not just another routine patient.
I really can't thank them enough.
What could be improved
Sadly the only tiny negative was the food- but to be honest post op. not much tastes good!
Anything else?
The staff (nurses) answered my familys questions in an unrushed and caring way.
The people serving the meals and the cleaning crew were all so pleasant and friendly .
"I couldn't have had better care if I had gone..."
