"Excellent care at Tameside Hospitals Gynae/Womens Health Unit"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I had been admitted as an emergency patient under the care of my consultant Dr Watson, who I had previously seen as a private patient.

I would just like to thank Dr Watson, his secretary Carol and the excellent Nurses and Doctors on the Womens Health Unit at Tameside, also not forgetting the fabulous theatre team, anaesthetic team and recovery nurses.

I was reluctant to attend Tameside but can honestly say the high levels of care and compassion that was shown to me during my stay was excellent and better than any nursing care I had previously had in the private sector.

The Unit was clean in all areas I personally used. I was offered a good quality of food, as well as night time toast! The Staff worked really hard and it was busy but they always found time to check on me.

Dr Watson's secretary Carol was a star. Excellent communications regarding my admission and so friendly.

As a Nursing Sister myself I would just like to say thank you to all involved and keep up the good work!

Thank you for making my stay a comfortable one and making me better.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post these comments.

I am delighted that you found the standards of care at Tameside Hospital to be excellent and I am pleased you have recovered so well.

I will certainly pass on your comments to Dr Watson, the WHU team and the theatre staff.

Kind regards

Philip Dylak
