"Far exceeded my expectations"

What I liked

I was admitted through A&E just before the new year, this was my first stay in hospital in my life. I arrived confused and bewildered with what turned out to be blood clots on both lungs. The speed with which I was dealt with exceptional, when I arrived on the ward I was immediately put at ease and made very comfortable by the staff on Digswell Ward. The care and attention I received throughout my stay was 1st class. Information was always forth coming and I and my wife were involved in every decision.

In this day and age it is so rare to find people who have a genuine concern for people and the team on the Digwell ward of the QE2 certainly have this and it is certainly something the NHS should be proud of. Every member of the team certainly needs to be personally congratulated for their commitment and dedication.
