In 2011 I was diagnosed with a prolapse of the bladder. I was referred to Mr Ramsden and in November had an operation to repair the prolapse. Today, I have had my follow up appointment and the operation has been successful.

The care I received by all the members of the Mr Ramsden's team and on Ward B11 was excellent from start to finish. All the staff treated me with care and understanding. This was my first operation and I was apprehensive. I would like to give a special mention to Mr Ramsden who was very approachable and caring, Maggie and Alison the pre assessment nurses, Dr Lee the anaethesist who gave me the courage and confidence to have a spinal block which worked so well and Staff Nurse Jo Bailey who just goes that extra mile for her patients and who with patience and humour taught me a new skill. But many thanks to all.
