We are very sorry to hear of the concerns you have about your father’s care while on our elderly care ward. At Medway, we take dementia care very seriously – all elderly care ward staff undertake dementia training and the wards are regularly audited to check that patients are receiving appropriate care. Any actions are followed up straight away. We also have protected meal times.

We would like to discuss this further so please contact me on 01634 830 000.

Julia Layzell

Head of Nursing for Elderly Care
